I spent two months teaching at ILC which have now become a sacred memory to me.
Firstly I would like to thank Gregory Grove for making me feel welcome and part of the team from the day of my arrival. His proffessionalism was evident throughout my time as a teacher in Chachapoyas, he delivered excellent feedback on lesson plans and our teaching methods, giving credit when due whilst deivering any neccessary constructive criticism which enhanced my teaching quality. Gregory played a huge role ensuring that the teaching standards were high was able to keep the teachers moral at a good level. His people skills are second to none, he is an individiaul with consistent principled intregity and it would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future.
The people of Chachapoyas are friendly and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. The warmth shown by the locals makes you feel part of the community from the moment you arrive, they are normally interested to know about your native country, the reasons you´ve chosen Chachapoyas to live and work in.
Thank you to Gregory and everyone at ILC
Tom

Dear Tom The information about working in Peru seems very interesting! I would like to know if I could get a teaching job there in Peru easily, what do you suggest me in the light of your experience? I belong to Pakistan and has obtained a Masters Degree in Genetics. Moreover, I am enrolled in a B.Ed Program which will be finished in near future. I have also passed a PTE exam of English and enrolled in a certificate course of EMI, both offered by Cambridge University, the latter certificate course will also finish in near future. Besides this I have a teaching experience of 5 years in the subjects of English and Biology. I've taught students of all grades ranging from primary to higher secondary classes, what i mean to say is that I am also a lecturer. Should I try for Peru then? what do you suggest?
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks in advance.
Tooba.
